2) What is the length of the exam?
For the current exam (JPR-960): 8 hours
For the new exam (JPR-961): 6 hours
3) When will the JPR-960 be retired?
January 1, 2021
4) Is SR (Segment Routing) currently on the exam?
No.
5) Is EVPN on the exam?
Not in the current exam. It will be included in the new exam.
6) Can the exam be taken remotely or still only at certain exam locations?
Remote exams are currently only being offered to employees and only the new exam (JPR-961) will be available remotely
6) In the exam, would you be able to see the options under each switch category for exam or they are hidden?
Yes, you have all commands available. You can use question mark, help reference, and help topics. No commands are hidden for exam purposes.
7) Are there any lunch breaks?
Yes, there is 1 hour for lunch. The time will be indicated by the proctor at the beginning of the test. All candidates take the lunch break at the same time. This break does not count towards the number of hours assigned to the exam (6/8 hrs). Additional short breaks can be taken at any times, but these will count towards the exam duration time.
8) Can I take my own notebook and/or monitor ?
Notes or personal devices are NOT allowed during the test. However, you can bring your own keyboard, mouse or monitor. Make sure you arrive earlier to talk to the proctor and set it up. You won’t be allowed to do that after the exam has started.

It depends on what the requirement is. If A is supposed to be able to ping B, then connect to A (might be a device with limited access) and try to ping B.
12) What about IPv6? It will be required to some calculations on the paper?
Well, you might. I don’t know. You will have space in the back of the exam instructions paper to make any notes, calculation, diagrams, that you might need.
13) Is the JNCIE-SP study bundle going to be updated for the new exam?
Our existing JNCIE-SP Self Study Bundle is applicable to both the current and next version of the exam, thus no need to update it.
